Rooms are bright, if rather small with the exception of one well-endowed suite. A thorough renovation in 2005 has upgraded the furniture and the infrastructure. The roof terrace commands a breathtaking close-up the Blue Mosque and the Egyptian obelisk. Across the street, the many-domed palace of Ibrahim Pasha, now the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, houses superb collections of illuminated Turkish manuscripts, Islamic calligraphy and antique carpets.
