Finding this miniature guesthouse hidden in one of the narrow alleys of Kaleiçi, within Antalya’s old city walls, is a pleasant surprise. Think of it more as a bed-and-breakfast than as a hotel. Its original owner, in a past century, may not have had the tourism industry in mind when he designed it. The rooms certainly can’t be described as large and airy. But the new owners have spared no effort when they decorated it, taking care to create a warm and cosy ambiance throughout the house. Attractive pictures of old Kaleiçi adorn the walls. With only eight beds, Candles House would be the perfect place for a party of friends. Its small dining room boasts a fine pebble mosaic. The location is also very convenient: Hadrian’s Gate and the Grooved Minaret are a stone’s throw from the front door.

I have been living in Antalya for a long time and fond of Kaleiçi eversince.Me and my brother,we always wanted to have and old/old looking house to run a little pension in this area. One day when we had the chance we were able to buy a place and our dream came true. It is now one of the prettiest building in Kaleiçi and we are proud of it.
